It seems fair to say that the SEC East is essentially a two-horse race.? South Carolina has one loss, but most expect Florida to drop at least a game this year which means the head-to-head matchup could easily determine who wins the east.
The reality is that either team can lose this game and be fine.? I would argue that the two most important games for both teams on the 2010 regular season are Florida vs South Carolina and Alabama vs Auburn.? Why??? Because South Carolina and Auburn represent the biggest threats for both teams to winning their respective divisions.
Similarly, Alabama must get by a tough Auburn team.? Yes, LSU is also undefeated, but I’m predicting that LSU doesn’t contend for the western crown like Auburn will.? The Alabama / Auburn game on November 27th could easily determine who wins the west and goes on to play in Atlanta.
